The IIA website was in need of a redesign to make their content easier for their users to find. I worked with the team to discover the user needs and came up with a design that focused on improving the findability for their paid research content.
Talentboom iPhone App
Talentboom is a professional networking app for people in the entertainment industry. When I started working on the project, they already had wireframed a lot of it out. I did all of the UI design as well as reviewed and gave recommendations regarding the existing wireframe.
Snapflow was a platform for building applications using an interface instead of code. The UI consisted of many builders to create different functionality in applications. This is a sample of some of the builder interfaces I worked on.
Email Notification Builder
Lacemarket is a second hand clothing sales website that I've been using for years. When they put out a call for UI/UX help I responded and joined the team. Lacemarket was already a fully built and fully featured website and I contribute suggestions for improving the user experience. If it's something simple I deliver a sketch to show the ideal flow and if it involves design changes I create annotated mockups.
Most of the work I have done for the site has been improvements to the selling and relisting flow, browsing listings, and navigation.
Snapflow Persona Research
At Snapflow, I worked with my team to interview local developers that we wanted to target with our product. This is the final artifact I created from that research in order to share the results with the rest of the company.
Fiender is an iPhone app for collectors to keep track of, as well as buy and sell high end collectibles. I was involved in the early stages of this project. I worked with the client to define requirements for an MVP, created wireframes and prototypes and also did the interface design.
In addition, Fiender has a web component to allow users to share their collections outside of the app. I worked with a front-end developer to create a responsive a design and layout these pages.
The main fed of the Fiender app. The user can "like" and "want" items by tapping the buttons under the image. Underneath the image is the title. When the user taps the grey arrow to the right of the title, a translucent overlay slides over the photo and reveals the image's description.
The first screen the user sees when the Fiender app is launched. It features a live feed of pictures underneath a translucent overlay.
The item that is being appraised is displayed in the background under a light translucent layer.
Fiender user profile. From here the user can view their own uploads, their items for sale or bought items, their followers, and wanted/liked items.
Sharing Website on iPhone
Primpt is an iPhone application designed to connect people in the beauty industry. I worked on every aspect of this project from requirement gathering, wireframing, UI design and testing. In addition to being available as an app on the iPhone, Primpt also has a web component that allows users to share their portfolio publicly.
Looks are laid out in a grid with the number of "loves" displayed at the bottom of each look.
Images are high resolution and can be uploaded in any dimension since they are also automatically uploaded to a web portfolio for each user.
The news feed displays global stories as well as stories about users you are following.
Responsive portfolio website for each Primpt user.
Portfolio on iPhone
StoreSnaps is an iPhone app that encourages users to find unique items in local stores and share them with their friends. I worked with another design on this project, providing feedback on their designs to make sure they would translate well to mobile devices. I created some items, such as business cards and t-shirts, based on the style guide provided by StoreSnaps.
